Streams freezing or buffering? Try these 7 simple fixes to enjoy smooth playback.
Buffering is the most common streaming problem, and in most cases it can be fixed in a few minutes. Here are 7 easy solutions.
1. Test Your Internet Speed
Run a speed test on the same device you use for streaming. HD needs around 15 Mbps and 4K needs about 25 Mbps.
2. Use a Wired Connection
Wi-Fi signals get weaker through walls. Connecting your TV or box with an Ethernet cable gives a much more stable stream.
3. Restart Your Router and Device
Turn off your router and streaming device for 30 seconds, then turn them back on. This clears temporary issues.
4. Clear the App Cache
On Android devices, go to Settings, Apps, select your player app, and tap Clear Cache.
5. Lower the Stream Quality
If your connection is slow, switch from 4K to HD or SD for smoother playback.
6. Reduce Other Internet Use
Downloads, video calls, and other streams on the same network can slow things down. Pause them while watching.
7. Update Your Player App
Old app versions can cause playback problems. Always keep your app up to date.
